LINKS is a Foundation born from an agreement between Compagnia di San Paolo and Politecnico di Torino that has been operating for about 20 years at a national and international level in the field of applied research, innovation and technology transfer.
LINKS aims to promote, conduct and enhance innovation processes and research projects that have public utility purposes and that, based on the results of the research also conducted in collaboration with universities, combining with internal transversal and multidisciplinary skills, can create an impact on the territory while remaining in an international context. This includes the desire to attract talents and professionals from all over the world, creating a reference point for applied research and for the enhancement of scientific skills.
The Foundation oversees technical-scientific disciplines that fall within the fields of engineering and architecture such as, for example, Cyber Security, Cyber Physical Systems and robotics, Data Science, Satellite Navigation Technologies, High Performance Computing, Antenna Design, Distributes Ledger Technologies and communication technologies to carry out innovative projects in various application sectors: from Industry 4.0 to Cybersecurity, from Intelligent Mobility to Agritech, from Space Applications to Medicine and Well Being, from Smart Cities to Cultural Heritage.
The research area of Advanced Computing and Applications (ACA) of LINKS Foundation, is seeking a researcher. The ACA research Area is focused on Advance Computing and Communications technologies for the Computing Continuum perspective. The researcher will join the team for the development, design and integration and testing of Radio Frequency circuits, with specific arguments related to the development of control boards and computer-assisted design antennas.
The researcher will be integrated in a group that works with national and international companies and research centers and Agencies, such as the European Space Agency (ESA), for the development of innovative antennas and to define prototype architecture able to achieve the stated product goals.
